Building Resilience, Navigating Conflict with Daria Nashat

In this episode,  Daria Nashat and I explore the concept of resilience, particularly in the context of conflict and personal growth. Daria shares her personal journey, including her experiences during the fall of the Berlin Wall, and discusses how these experiences shaped her understanding of resilience and conflict transformation. The conversation delves into the nature of conflict, the importance of compassion and relationships in resolving disagreements, and the impact of fear on communication. We talk about the need for self-awareness and the ability to regulate our emotional responses to foster healthier interactions and build resilience. In this conversation, we emphasize the interconnectedness of all beings, and nature, and how understanding this can help us thrive.

If you are feeling the pressure of these complex and divisive times we are living in, check out this conversation!

Here are a couple of my favorite quotes…

“The problem with conflict is that we see conflict as a problem.”

“…remembering that we're all interconnected, going back to our shared humanity. I think it's really important and very helpful, especially in these times. It seems sometimes that we have forgotten that we belong to each other. We're interconnected. We may disagree on a lot of things, but in the end, you know, there is something that we're part of…. this circle of life. “
